FeeBuddies UID and exchange UID: connect the right account

Learn which identifier belongs in each field and how to submit your exchange account for the correct partner connection checks.

Two identifiers serve two different purposes

Your FeeBuddies UID identifies your member account inside FeeBuddies. Its format is FB followed by five digits, such as FB12345; the example is not an account you should use. Your exchange UID identifies an account at Bybit, OKX or another supported exchange. These identifiers are not replacements for each other. A blockchain wallet address is a third, different identifier used for asset transfers. Before entering anything, read what the field requests. The exchange connection form expects the UID issued by the exchange, while a support conversation may need both identifiers clearly labelled.

Prepare the partner connection before submitting details

Open the relevant FeeBuddies partner page and read its current connection information. The public partner flow directs users to use the FeeBuddies partner link, complete the exchange's required account checks and then submit the exchange UID in the dashboard. If you already have an exchange account, do not assume that adding its number establishes a new referral relationship or changes historical attribution. Ask about eligibility for that specific existing account before relying on cashback. Keep account creation, partner attribution and FeeBuddies registration conceptually separate: completing one step does not automatically prove that the others are complete.

Copy the UID from the exchange's own interface

Use the exchange's official account interface rather than a transaction hash, deposit address or number supplied by another person. Bybit's UID guide points to account information and the profile menu. OKX's UID guide describes the identifier in the account's profile area. Interfaces can vary by region and app version, so use the linked official instructions when navigation differs. If you have several exchange accounts, first confirm which account is signed in. Copy the value carefully and check it against the displayed number. An identifier that looks plausible may still belong to the wrong account.

Submit the exchange and UID in FeeBuddies

Sign in to FeeBuddies and open Exchange accounts. The current form provides an exchange selector and a UID field; its supported exchange options include Bybit, BingX, OKX and MEXC. Choose the actual exchange, paste that exchange's UID and submit the form. For this flow, you do not need to paste a wallet recovery phrase, exchange password or API secret into the UID field. After submitting, review the account list instead of assuming submission equals approval. The page's account status and any rejection reason are the useful indicators for the next step.

Understand what a status can and cannot tell you

A pending record means that its applicable checks have not yet produced an approved result. A rejection should be read together with the stated reason. A verified connection concerns the account relationship; it is not a promise that every product, historical trade or fee category qualifies for cashback. If the details are wrong or the outcome is unclear, contact FeeBuddies Support with the exchange and UID you submitted. Do not create duplicate submissions as a substitute for understanding the reason. Keep a note of when you submitted the account so support can distinguish the relevant attempt from an earlier one.

Keep a simple account map for future checks

A private two-column note can prevent repeated mistakes: one line for the FeeBuddies member UID and one line for each exchange name with its exchange UID. For example, label FB12345 as an illustrative FeeBuddies ID and label a separate placeholder as the exchange-issued ID; never reuse the member identifier in both rows. Add the connection date and status, without storing passwords alongside them. When checking later transactions or asking about a report, identify the exchange account that generated the activity. This turns an ambiguous question about 'my UID' into a precise reference that both you and support can understand.

Where can I see my FeeBuddies UID?

The FeeBuddies profile page displays the member UID. It begins with FB and five digits. Use it to identify your FeeBuddies membership; obtain the separate exchange UID from the exchange itself.

Does submitting an exchange UID let FeeBuddies move my crypto?

The current connection form asks for the exchange name and UID, not a transfer instruction or withdrawal credential. Do not share secrets in that field. Account eligibility still requires the applicable partner verification; a number alone does not prove approval.
