MEXC referral code changes: what existing users should check

Learn the difference between adding a missing MEXC invitation code and replacing one already linked to an account.

Classify your account before requesting a change

The useful first question is not which cashback code offers the biggest number, but whether your existing MEXC account is already linked to an inviter. If you do not know, request an account-specific answer from MEXC rather than assuming an empty-looking screen means no relationship exists. Keep the account UID ready and note your registration date. FeeBuddies needs the exchange UID for its own verification; your FeeBuddies member number, email address and deposit address are not interchangeable substitutes.

What MEXC’s published FAQ says

MEXC’s affiliate FAQ says a linked invitation code cannot be changed or removed. It separately allows a missing code to be bound within 30 days of registration through support or its Self-Service Referrer Linking function. That is an addition for an eligible account, not a general transfer promise. The official self-service page is linked below. Its authenticated result is more relevant than a third-party claim that every existing account can be moved.

Check the destination and keep the result

FeeBuddies currently publishes mexc-crt in its MEXC partner guide. Use the current guide to confirm the intended partner connection; do not replace an existing code or enter information into an unofficial lookalike page. Where the official account flow permits a request, read the confirmation before submitting and keep a record of its outcome. If you cannot complete the process, ask for clarification without changing your identity details or opening duplicate accounts. Sending multiple inconsistent requests is unlikely to help you understand which account state is being assessed.

Link your UID in FeeBuddies

After checking the exchange-side situation, open Exchange Accounts in FeeBuddies and submit your own MEXC UID. Our verification checks whether it is present in the FeeBuddies affiliate referral records. Submitting a UID is not a promise of acceptance or a means of changing the exchange’s stored inviter. If the result is unexpected, check the selected exchange and copied digits first. A support message should include the relevant non-sensitive error and reference to the exchange response, not your password, authenticator codes or recovery phrase.

Review coverage before expecting a payment

Keep three questions separate: is the account recognized, is the particular activity eligible, and has its commission been reported? The FeeBuddies MEXC guide currently excludes API trades from cashback coverage. Check that guide again before assuming an automated trading setup qualifies. For your records, identify product, execution method, trade date, actual fee and any fee reduction already applied. Do not count a headline cashback percentage as a reduction on the entire order value. We make no backdated reimbursement promise or fixed settlement deadline here; wait for verified records rather than increasing trading activity to chase an unconfirmed reward.

Can a successful UID submission replace my MEXC inviter?

No. FeeBuddies checks its partner records. Exchange-side referral rules remain separate from submitting the account identifier.

What if my account does not fit the published linking option?

Ask MEXC to confirm the applicable account rules and FeeBuddies to check the current relationship. Do not assume an exception, recreate accounts or bypass KYC.
