Crypto cashback not showing? A practical troubleshooting guide
Check the account connection, reporting period and eligible fee basis before investigating a missing cashback entry.
Define exactly what appears to be missing
Start by writing a single clear statement: which exchange, which account, which trading dates and which expected entry cannot you find? A trading-fee deduction, a cashback credit and a withdrawal request are different records. In FeeBuddies, use the Transactions area for recorded movements and the Exchange accounts area for the connection status. Check the reporting dates before comparing totals. A screenshot of today's balance cannot, on its own, show whether a particular past trade was included. Keep the original records unchanged while you investigate so that later comparisons use the same evidence.
Verify the exchange and UID as a pair
An exchange UID identifies an account at that exchange. Your FeeBuddies member identifier begins with FB and contains five digits; it is not the value to paste into an exchange-UID field. Compare the saved exchange name and UID with the account where the relevant trades actually occurred. If you operate several accounts, be explicit about which one produced the records. Official Bybit and OKX account guides explain where their UIDs can be found. Do not share passwords, API secrets or recovery phrases to prove an account number. A copied public account identifier and relevant transaction references should be kept separate from login credentials.
Read the connection status before assuming eligibility
A submitted account is not necessarily an approved partner connection. Inspect the status displayed in Exchange accounts and read any rejection reason. If the record is pending, the connection still requires its applicable checks; if it is rejected, address the actual reason through support rather than repeatedly submitting the same data. Creating a FeeBuddies account does not itself establish that an existing exchange account is attributed to the partner arrangement. Likewise, clicking a partner link today does not prove that earlier trades qualified. Ask about the specific account and time period instead of assuming a retrospective change.
Compare like-for-like amounts and periods
Use the same date range and time basis on both sides of your comparison. Separate actual trading fees from funding, withdrawals, borrowing costs and trading losses. Then identify the benefit's calculation basis. A hypothetical statement showing 12 USDT of trading fees and 3 USDT of funding does not establish a 15 USDT cashback basis. Even the 12 USDT may not all qualify under a particular arrangement. If an illustrative confirmed basis is 8 USDT and its agreed benefit rate is 25%, the arithmetic is 2 USDT. That example demonstrates the method only; it is not a FeeBuddies rate or an eligibility promise.
Allow for reporting without inventing a deadline
A trade execution and a partner reporting record do not have to appear at the same moment. FeeBuddies processes account and commission information, and the visible result depends on the relevant records being available and matched. This guide does not promise hourly, daily or next-day crediting. Check any timing information actually provided for your arrangement. If that information does not resolve the question, request the applicable reporting period from support. Avoid placing extra trades to test whether the counter updates: new activity adds costs and creates more records without diagnosing the missing entry.
Send one evidence-based support request
Open FeeBuddies Support and describe the issue in the Subject and Message fields. Include your FeeBuddies UID, exchange name, exchange UID, date range with time zone, the connection status and a concise explanation of the amount you expected. Refer to the relevant trade or statement identifiers and state the fee currency. The current support form is text-based, so summarise the facts clearly rather than assuming an upload is required. Keep sensitive credentials out of the message. Follow the reply in the support centre and keep related follow-up information together; several contradictory requests can make the same case harder to understand.
My exchange account is connected. Does that guarantee every trade earns cashback?
No. Connection status and activity eligibility are separate checks. Product scope, attribution, dates and the applicable benefit basis still need to match the partner arrangement.
Should I submit a withdrawal request to recover missing cashback?
No. A withdrawal request concerns available funds, not investigation of an absent commission record. First reconcile the entry through Transactions, Exchange accounts and Support; then use withdrawals for the balance actually available.
